This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Regent AI Security Inc. (“Regent,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and its Services, including Regent Arc, Regent Atlas, and related offerings.
By subscribing to our Services, you agree to this policy.
2. Subscription Billing
Regent operates on a subscription basis. Depending on your selected plan (Essentials, Pro, Enterprise, or Atlas), you may be billed:
- Monthly or annually in advance
- Based on platform usage, seats, or flat-rate pricing (depending on contract)
All fees are due in accordance with your selected billing cycle.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation rules:
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will continue to have access to the Services until the end of that period
- No further charges will occur after cancellation takes effect
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel before your next billing date.
4. Refund Policy
Standard Policy
Regent generally does not offer refunds for:
- Partial subscription periods
- Unused time in a billing cycle
- Downgrades during an active billing period
Exceptions
Refunds may be issued at Regent’s discretion in limited cases, such as:
- Duplicate charges
- Billing errors caused by Regent
- Verified technical issues that prevented reasonable use of the Services
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
5. Free Trials (If Applicable)
If Regent offers a free trial:
- No charges will be applied until the trial ends
- You may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged
- If not canceled before the trial ends, billing will begin automatically
6. Enterprise Agreements
For customers under a signed enterprise contract:
- Refund and cancellation terms in the contract will override this policy
- Custom billing terms may apply (including upfront commitments)
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, Regent reserves the right to:
- Suspend or restrict access to the Services
- Request additional information to resolve the dispute
- Terminate the account in cases of abuse
We encourage customers to contact us first to resolve any billing concerns.
8. Plan Changes
If you upgrade or downgrade your plan:
- Upgrades may take effect immediately with prorated charges
- Downgrades take effect in the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified
